Rev. Raymond E. Pierson

Martha and Family,
All of you are in our thoughts and prayers as we are saddened to learn about Ray. Ray and Martha served our church family at Aldersgate United Methodist Church on the southwest side of Indianapolis back in the 1980's before Ray's retirement. We love them and miss them and thank them for their Christian service. When I talked with Ray approximately three years ago, he wanted to come back to Aldersgate and preach one more sermon. That would have been memorable, but...

I love this man...He was my Pastor in Sheridan, IN and I am truly blessed to have been part of his congregation. Peace be with you in God's arms and to your family.

I remember Rev. Pierson when he was a minister at Bethel United Methodist church in Indianapolis. I remember later on in life when Rev. Pierson and Martha had their 50th anniversary celebration. My mom (Georgia Hollingsworth) and I drove to Crossville to celebrate this wonderful occasion. I have a lot of fond memories of him discussing his garden with my dad (Harry Hollingsworth). I know he has touched many lives and made their faith that much stronger, because he has mine.
