Not sure what to say?

Ray was a true gentleman. He was always happy and welcoming to your stories. He was the greeter at St. Martin de Porres's 5:00 mass each Saturday night. He dressed in a suit each Saturday until he switched to his summer uniform for the summer. He was a story teller and was so proud of his family, especially his grandson. I still miss seeing his face each week. Pat

Sorry to hear of your loss. Visiting the old neighborhood in September I spoke with Ray for the first time in many years. He was as I remembered growing up across the street. A wonderful man.

I first met Ray when my family moved to Poughkeepsie from New Jersey. He always asked my brother, sister and I to bring up the gifts at the 5:00 mass, which we dreaded but never told him no. Over the years he watched me grow up as well as my 3 children. He always had a smile and a warm hug for me for the past 39 years, He will be missed but God has gained another Angel.

Ray was a wonderful, kind and gentle soul. He was on the job at St. Martin de Porres up to the week before he entered the nursing home. I always loved hearing his stories about his travels with the Veterans, his grandsons and Perkins and the swimming medals he won. He had a great sense of humor. I will miss him. Pat Cramer

We were so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a wonderful human being and will be missed by his St. Martin de Porres Family. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you, Terri and your family during this difficult time. May he Rest In Peace.

So very sorry for your loss Terri Rae and for your family. What a legacy you Dad has left.

So very sorry for your loss Terri Rae and for your family as well. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I will miss you Uncle Ray , my God Father.

I met Ray in 1965, As I worked my way up to the head of Region 8, I did not realize how much he taught me. We needed more people like Ray in the Department of Transportation. A true gentleman and a pleasure to work with.
