As the sun rose at 6:46 am Friday morning Regina went to meet Jesus, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest

Regina was a lifetime resident of the Tyler/Noonday area graduating from R. E. Lee in 1970.   She spent 30 years working as a Tyler Police and Fire dispatcher. As a first responder she will be provided Honor Guard for her services.

The simplest pleasures in life brought Regina great joy. She loved to travel, but most of all she loved her family.  Nothing made her happier than a call or visit from Markie,  lunchtime dates along with Sunday movie dates with her closest family. She also thoroughly enjoyed the company and talking with all of her many friends, as she is loved by many.  Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met.

Regina is survived by her husband, Marcus and her daughter Markie, along with her four sisters Sherry, Michele, Karen and Phyllis. She is also survived by her Sister and brother in law Sylvia and Lowell, along with many nieces, nephews, Cousins five dogs and her grand-dog – her daughters dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Loyd E “Andy” and Dorothy Sue Anderson.

To God be the Glory.  Fly high my sister, we will see you soon

Not sure what to say?

Marcus old friend I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Upon hearing of her loss it saddened me as I thought back on growing up in Noonday and school at Rice Elementary through Robert E. Lee with Regina. God Bless and peace be with you knowing she is cradled in His loving arms.

Regina was my go to friend...due to her wit, generous nature and no nonsense advice. Her skill as a Dispatcher was inspirational. We often traveled together, exercised together & dined out together. She adored her husband Marcus, her wonderful daughter Markie, as well as her beautiful sisters and all her family. I will always remember her.

Marcus and Markie, my sincere condolences. It was a pleasure getting to know Regina as a co worker, but more than anything as a friend who will truly be missed.

Will miss you. Growing up you were the sister I didn't have.

I am so sorry to hear of Regina's passing. She was such a joy to work with. She was very knowledgeable but most of all she was so very entertaining with her humor. She will be missed.

Marcus and Markie, I’m so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Regina many years at the police department. Please know that I have you and the rest of the family in my prayers.

Marcus and Markie, we are so sad that Regina has passed. We were so proud of her retiring at 30 years. She was a great co-worker. Our prayers are with you and your other family members.

I am so very sorry to hear of Regina's passing. She was a kind and sweet person.

Praying for you all
