Not sure what to say?

I heard of Rex but never had the honour of meeting him. Sounds like a great person who I should have met! Condolences to all Rex's family & close friends. Pala International led me to this page from their website where they mention Rex's passing.

I have so many fond memories of Rex & Lois & their family growing up next door to them in Delta. I so appreciate how wonderful Rex was to my Mother & Father. I remember what a great Dad he was & how much he loved Lois. My prayers are with his family.

Lois and Family~ I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Rex. My thoughts are with you all. It is never easy but I hope your memories help to find comfort.

My brother and I were on our way to do some mineral collecting down by Milford,Utah, we had stopped by the side of the road to check out a dirt road that might be a short cut to the big open pits where we wanted to collect. Suddenly a car pulled up behind us and stopped and out stepped Rex Harris, he said he was heading up to his red beryl mine and asked us if we wanted to go. We jumped at the chance to go collect with him, he was one of the original members of the Mineral Collectors of Utah...

I remember the day I entered Tina Jewelry store and told Rex he was under arrest ( He knew I was Joking!). He pulled out a 357( I hope it wasn't loaded!) and said over my dead body, we laughed and laughed until our sides hurt. Rex was an old cowboy who danced to his own his own tune. He and his son Gary worked hard at mining and as a result, did very well and led a blessed life! He will be very much missed and we hope his family can deal with his passing. Rex and Lois are the best along with the extended Harris family.Above all, Rex was a CHOICE FRIEND!! I shall deeply miss our every Monday trip to Payson or Provo.

Rex, Lois and family were neighbors to my parents Golden
and Loa Black. Rex was always ready to help with anything
they needed. When Golden passed, they were caring and loving to Loa and treated her like their own mother. I will
always remember visiting and being greeted by Rex. He was
an incredible friend to our family. I can still hear his laugh.

Rex Was always working for the Farmers on his off hours in Millard County keeping their Electric Motors and Wiring done for their farms, always could depend on him. Played a big role in Bring the Sprinkler Irrigation era into ther area. Just an all around fine man. Terry Stephenson
