and the cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around her
and whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful hearts
we watched her fade away.
Although we loved her dearly,
we could not make her stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands laid to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

Well Mom, it's December. I hate you being gone!!!!!! It just doesn't feel like Christmas is coming without you.... John asked if he and Frilla could move in with me in February, Frilla is the woman he brought here from the Philippines, John plans on marrying her. Im thanking God they are planning on moving in. I miss you Mom!!!! Love you dearly!!!!

Hey Mom, I miss you so very much!!! I have felt closer to you by writing you! I never realized how precious it was to talk to you on the phone. You always made everything alright. Your prayers always were answered right away like you had an open conversation going on with the Lord. My heart aches for you but I'm thankful you are now healthy and safe! Aunt Donna was so thoughtful, she arranged a birthday celebration to honor your life at green acres yesterday, John and I put a card by your cenotaph, I sang a Happy Birthday song to you, Uncle Gordon was there too, I hope you like it!! You are the kindest, gentlest soul I have met on this earth. You made it a point to inspire me every time we spoke, and I can never express what a blessing and privilege it was to be your grandson and share all of the cherished memories we shared. When I consider the most joyful and happiest times of my childhood, I realize they were at your home with you and our family. I think of sitting on the floor playing board games with Uncle John, watching cartoons with you and Aunt Shirley, or simply talking to you about things that were going on in school, and I realize how blessed I am to have spent so much of my life with you. Thank you for being the Godly example that you always have been... I will be living my life knowing that you are watching me from the great cloud of witnesses and I am so excited that we will share eternity together! I love you bunches!
