Not sure what to say?

Dearest Burt,

I am so so sorry to learn that Rhoda passed in April. I have just found out via a friend of a friend. No words can express how much I will miss her (and have missed her over the years that we haven't lived in the same city). She was a wonderful mentor and friend and I am grateful to have met her, and you, and grateful, too, for all the times we did spend together. Know that I am thinking of you and that I will always carry her in my heart.

Dear Burt,

Im so sorry my previous condolence message didnt post and make it across the pond (USA-based web page). I want to extend my very deepest sympathies to you and your family.

I have SO MANY fond memories of Rhoda-- from Nags Head to Jerusalem!!
Of those, a few remain profound in terms of her lasting impact on me (personal, political and professional)...

In a word, Rhoda was brilliant! She will be long remembered, sorely missed and dearly...

Dear Burt,
Irv and I are sorry to be so late sending our sincere condolences to you and your family on your great loss. We know how much she meant to you, your daughters, and their families.
We remember Rhoda so fondly and we cannot adequately express the appreciation for all she brought to our communities, both at Montclair State and in Division 35. Thank you and your daughters for sharing her with all of us.
Warmest regards,
Pam

I never had the fortune to meet Rhoda Unger but her work inspired and sustained me. My deepest condolences to her family.

Dear Burt,
My sympathies to you and to your children and grandchildren on Rhoda's passing. I look back with fondness to the times Rhoda, you and I were together. I am another person of many for whom Rhoda was a pioneer and strong voice within psychology and a leader in the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues (SPSSI). I especially benefitted from (and used) her writings on the history of psychology. She leaves a legacy that is a model for others to emulate.

So sorry for your loss. May you find comfort in the encouraging words at Isaiah41: 10, 13.

Dear Burt, My heartfelt condolences to you and your family on Rhoda's passing. She was a force to be reckoned with and leaves many scholars behind who benefitted from her work and ideas. She will be missed. Thank you for sharing her with so many of us.

Dr/ Beverly Greene

Sorry for your loss. Rhoda was a great champion for women's rights.
