Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. - Lemont Obituary

Rhona A. Cundiff, nee Korn, age 65, formerly known as Rhona Cox, passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2019.  Dearest daughter of the late Jean (late Marie) Korn; adored wife of Jerry  Cundiff; loving and devoted mother of Christopher (Gina) Cox, Melissa Cox, and Jerry (Sheila) Cundiff, Jr.; wonderful grandmother of Ava Marie, Griffin, Jerry, and Scotty; cherished sister of Sandy (the late Bud) Brown, Linda (Doug) Haas, and Lisa (Tom) Siemsen; fond aunt of several nieces & nephews.


Rhona was sweet, kind, and would give endlessly of herself.  She meant the world to her family, and loved ones.  


A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 4 – 7 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St., Lemont, IL 60439.  A funeral Mass will be held privately.  In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer green or potted plants, which can be kept in her memory.

This is such sad news. A wonderful lady has left this earth and she will be missed. Heaven indeed has another angel. My prayers will be for comfort and strength for her family left behind.
