Rhonda Carlton Beach 71 born on April 20, 1949 passed away on January 14, 2021 at home peacefully surrounded by family. Rhonda was a lifelong Baptist and resident of Lake County Florida. After attending Groveland High School, Rhonda met the love of her life, Jimmy Beach, and settled down in Clermont with him. Rhonda loved her family. Family was very important to her. Rhonda loved the outdoors as well as working in her yard planting all manner of flowers. She especially loved fishing and hunting. Rhonda was also a caregiver to her oldest son, Travis Ward, which put her dedication to family on full display for everyone to see. To know her was to love her.
Rhonda is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Jimmy Beach; her son’s, Travis Ward and George Beach (Angie Smith); daughter, Kim Moore (John); grandchildren, William Moore, Aaron Moore, Kelsey Beach (Jake Sierra), and Courtney Funkhouser; greatgrandchild, Landon Jacob Sierra; and sister, Shirley Carlton Watson Sapp. She was predeceased by her father, Ira J. Carlton; mother, Alma Joiner Carlton; sisters, Jeanette Carlton O’Steen and Marcell Carlton Perry; brother, Hulan Lee Carlton; and half-brother Melvin Carlton.
