Today is my mom's birthday. It's the first since her passing, almost a year ago, which is hard to believe. Time has both crept and flew all at once, and I can't believe we have arrived at today without my mom's physical presence with us. I say "physical" because I know Mom is truly with us every day. I always thought the hardest time to be away from Mom would be the holidays, because Mom made Thanksgiving to Christmas and New Year's a very memorable time. But the summer has turned out to be...

My world became a little dimmer at the loss of an old and beloved friend. Deepest sympathy to Bob, Robby, Aly and Christopher. Together we will miss her every day.
