Not sure what to say?

Dear Alice and Family, Bob and I were saddened to read in the morning paper that Dick had passed away. We just wanted you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. You and Dick are among the first friends we made after moving to Escondido years ago and always kind and friendly to us. May good memories together comfort you now in your loss. Love, Bob & Shirley Fullerton

I had the priviledge of getting to know Dick Bartley when I was with Home Fed Bank. He was a great asset to the financial institution and a very nice man with a wonderful family. My sincere condolences to Alice and their family.

Alice and family, I am so sorry for your loss. It is very hard to give up our loved one. I send my sympathy and prayers. May God give you His love and strength in the hard days to come. Dick will be missed.

I wish to extend to you and to members of your family my deepest sympathy on your loss. May the Lord's loving promises comfort you and give you strength as you walk through this difficult time. On behalf of a grateful nation and an expression of appreciation for the honorable and faithful service rendered by your loved one, if you wish for a personalized memorial card mailed to you with history of playing of taps, 21 gun salutes, meaning of each fold of the flag as a keepsake, please send...

We were saddened to see Richard's obituary in the paper today. Our connections go back to the 1990's and
his appraisal days. We had lost of track of he and Alice over the years but we often spoke about the good times. Our sympathy and prayers go out to you, Alice, and your family. We hope our paths cross again soon. Rich and Anne Barrett

What a wonderful man Dick was. He did so much for Escondido. He did love his community and was devoted to his family. My thoughts and sympathy to Alice and her family.
