My deepest sympathy Pat to you and your family. Richard and you have always held a special place in my life. Richard had always been a bit of a Father figure to me, taking a chance to give me a job when they were scarce in 1974 and being a great influence and role model. In the almost 35 years that I spent with Clark Security I always wanted to do that job in a way that he would have approved. In the years after he retired I was proud to be his "go to guy" in the company when he needed...

Your husband and father impacted so many other lives, and always in a positive way. Such a gift he had, and what a gift he was. We are devastated.
He overflowed with a WOW personality. How very fortunate for Bob to reunite with him in the last few years. Words, no matter how many or well intended can erase the void in your life, but know that Richard filled many voids in his friends life. We are so thankful we knew him. Please know all those who loved him ...and there is an army... will...

Some people come along and change the direction of your life. Richard Clark was one of those people.
The company he founded brought me to San Diego. While at Clark I met my future wife, and Richard played a key role in our courtship.
As I introduced Bridget to Richard, and he mentioned he knew her sisters. Although he had just met her he put her at ease with me, and I’ll always be grateful for that. In this case and in others,
just knowing Richard added to my...
