Not sure what to say?

Richard was a great man. I was fortunate to work with him and for him for about 12 years at Broyhill in Rutherfordton, Broyhill in Marion, and Henredon. He truly was a people person and knew how to treat everyone the same. He loved his family, telling war stories, and riding his tractor. I considered Richard a dear friend that helped me through life. My condolences to Margie Lee, Dickey, and the rest of the family.

Praying for the family.

Love you uncle Richard you will be missed dearly. Richard was a great man he loved his family . Now he is in heaven with grandma, grandpa, his grandson Keith, sister Neva and many more. We still have Lester my dad, JP, Lewis, Glenn and Eugene. It was a hard day for all. I love each and everyone of you!

We are so sorry to hear about Richard. He will be missed. We are out of town and will not be able to attend the service, but please know our hearts and prayers are with you.

I didn't know Mr. Crisp but I salute his service in WW2. Men like Mr. Crisp helped shape America into the nation we have today. Far too many of these vet pass each day...they are a national treasure.
