Not sure what to say?

One word: Moonshine.

Dear Richard,

Paul and I want you to know that we will never forget you. You have your place in our hearts. Although we did not know you for too long, you made an impressive impact on us with your strong personality and beautiful character. We will miss sharing thoughts and opinions with you. May your soul rest peacefully!

Dear Susan,

We can only imagine how much it hurts to try starting a new life. But we wish you and the daughters all the strength...

Dear Susan, Analeise and Caitlin,
I just learned of Rick's death last night and wanted to say that I am thinking fondly of you at this terribly sad time. I will always remember the fun summers at Mercerwood with Rick taking pictures. Keep the happy memories in your heart.

I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Richard as a fellow member of the Mercer Island Boys and Girls Club Board of Directors. He was a gracious, kind and thoughtful man. He never had a cross word for anyone. We will miss Richard's quiet and caring presence.

Richard,
I don't think I ever took the opportunity to tell you that I love you. You always cracked me up with comments (said very quietly) in the background at family gatherings.
We'll miss you terribly.
We scattered your ashes in your favorite places, Mt Rainier and Crystal Mountain.
Mark thought of you as a brother.
You will not be forgotten.
Love,
Pat

We just meet Richard last year as our real estate agent. It didn't take long to become friends with him, then Sue. The stories we told each other about growing up paralleled in many ways. All brothers. The 60's and 70's.

We would call each other and have the goofiest, off the wall conversations. He had such a kind heart and quite, witty humor. I miss you.

Sue, We both think about you every day. See you soon.

Dear Susan and family, We are so deeply sorry for your loss. We remember Richard's kindness and sense of humor. We are very saddened and hope you keep in touch with us and let us know if we can be of any assistance. God's peace and blessings to you and your loved ones.

Dear Sue and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Rick was in drama club with me for years. I remember him working backstage making sure everything ran perfectly. He was fearless on tall ladders and worked incredibly hard. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.

Dear Sue, Analeise and Caitlin; Our deepest sympathies to all of you at this time. We were saddened to hear of your sudden loss. We are grateful for the time and memories that were shared at the MI high school reunion.

Our love and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
