Not sure what to say?

Clay was the best "Earnest T. Bass" ever!I relished his sense of humor. Am so very sorry I did not get to see him in his own "Garden of Eden". I know how much he is missed, both by his family and all who knew him.
Indiana cousin Susie

Phyllis, my condolence to you and also my prayers at the loss of this son. Rejoice that he is now with Jim and Jan, helping the Lord in Heaven. May he rest in peace with the Lord.

I always had a special place in my heart for Clay. He was my cousin and put up with my antics as a kid. I had a HUGE crush on him. He was 18 and I was 8. He was kind and patient with me, and always took time out of his day to spend some time with me.

Clay was a very good friend and team mate. We enjoyed golf, birding, and playing cards. Our friendship was strongest during our high school and college years. His Mom and Dad always made me feel welcome in their home. In all the years we have known each other, Clay was always supportive, kind, had a great sense of humor, and never spoke a harsh word. I will miss him very much
