Not sure what to say?

Great teacher Very nice man. Rip.

To the entire Eckert family,
I am sorry for your loss. I was in Mr. Eckert's Chemistry classes at WAHS and all of my siblings had him as well. He will be remembered as a kind teacher with a warm sense of humor. Certainly an icon to the alums. God bless you.

Nancy,

We were so sorry to read of Dick's passing.-We always thought of him as a fine gentleman who treated us kindly. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.

My condolences to the Eckert family. Dick was a great coach in his first year as a varsity coach 1959 at Wilson and he will be missed.

Please accept our condolences on Mr. Eckert's passing. I was glad to see him again at the Class of '65's breakfast prior to our reunion. He had a good influence on my educational pursuits and I was glad to have the chance to say thanks.
Rest in Peace, sir. You are remember fondly by many of your former students.

Dear Nancy and Family,
So sorry for your loss. Mr. Eckert was an inspirational person. My two years of chemistry at Wilson High School inspired me to be a chemistry major in college. I was also fortunate to interact with you and Dick at the Russian Church in Bethlehem. My Uncle is a member at the church, and he and Dick played basketball at Hellertown High. I also recall when you both graciously allowed us to see your home when Kathy and I were looking for a 55 and over community. ...

Condolences to the family of Mr. Eckert. He was instrumental in helping many of us better students during our time at Wilson High School.
