Not sure what to say?

"A tall yard stick"!!! My big brother and a big brother to all that knew him and loved him too. His struggles are now his Victories and I praise God that He has called him to His glory. He will be missed. I love you, Dickie, and I will think of you everyday, and the memories that God will sustain us with in our tomorrows. Your little sister, Bev

Richard was a tireless devoted member of our department. He was a sweet generous soul who always had a kind word and a prayer for those troubled or in need. When I had major surgery, new to the department, Richard selflessly gave his vacation time to help me in my time of need. I will always remember his generosity and pray for his , most pure, soul. Rest in peace Richard. A kinder man I have never met.

Dick was a good man. He had the true heart of a servant. He gave of himself tirelessly. His love for his family should be an example to us all. He remains my brother in Christ always.

Dick was an important part of our Sunday School class and we have missed his participation. He loved the Lord and we look forward to seeing him again some day.

Sorry for your loss. We are sure you will miss him. Our thoughts are with you.
Calvin Holmes, Shelby and Chris Jewell and Billy Holmes and Diane Duke.

What a blessing it was to have known Dick! He loved the LORD with all his heart and wanted all those with whom he came in contact to know HIM, too! He was definitely a LIGHT in the world. He was and will be greatly missed in our Sunday School class. May God comfort you all during this time.

I will miss your smiling face at work. You will be missed.

His Happy Work Family

I worked with Richard for years at the City of Richmond. He was a special person with a heart of gold. He is safe in his God's hands now.

We will miss you Richard. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
