Not sure what to say?

Carol, I am so very sorry to hear of Richard's passing. We had such fun, we three couples - and Richie, of course.

My deepest sympathy to you, Richie and your family.

My wife took the train into Boston for the last 3 years with Rick. She spoke often of the two "Wentworth Boys, how they were such gentlemen. Rick's sense of humor and enthusiasm were mentioned often. His jokes and kind remarks made an often bad commute bearable. He must have been an amazing man, husband, father, and teacher to make such a lasting impression on such casual acquaintances.

Dear Fontaine Famaily,
I studied computer science at Bridgewater 30 years ago and was in a couple of Dick's classes. I was always amazed at his energy, enthusiasm and willingness to go all out to help his students. We all wondered how one man could do so much.

I learned a lot from Dick about how to think, plan and approach my work, even if it didn't involve a computer. He was a great teacher.

Rick was a very good man and he helped me to get my start in RI. He was a good man and will be missed. Thank you RIck for all that you have done for me.
To Mrs. Fontaine and Family- please accept my condolences for your loss.
Regards,
Charlene J.

My wife Carol & I cannot express the sadness on hearing about Rick's passing. We became friends with Rick on the commuter rail and his wonderful sense of humor and very warm personality will be forever missed.

Rich Jr.,
I'm very sorry to hear about the unexpected loss of your dad. Although I didn't know him, his obituary tells me that he was a wonderful man. Maybe this is why you turned out so well!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family through this difficult time.
Take care,
John Cugini

I just heard about Dick's passing. It's hard to believe - someone so very alive and energetic. I'll always remember him as a good friend and tennis partner, a very knowledgeable colleague, and a guy who could eat more than anyone I knew yet never gain weight.
Richie (Jr.), my sincere condolences to you and your family.

Dear Carolyn and Family,

As a colleague of Rick's I was one of the many individuals who benefited from his leadership, vision and friendship. He will always be remembered for his kind heart and great sense of humor, as you stated. Rick was a leader of our organization, OSHEAN, from the very start and his support helped make us a successful organization. He will be dearly missed.

On behalf of the entire OSHEAN family, please accept our deepest sympathies and know you...
