Richard Cushing Gibson

Guest Book

Not sure what to say?

Dick was a wonderful friend to the Charlestown, N.H., Historical Society, where his Cushing ancestors lived. We enjoyed knowing him and Olive, and appreciated his generosity in presenting family memorabilia to us and allowing us to publish a book about his grandmother, Mary Cushing. He was a wonderful, impressive individual.

We are very sorry to hear about Richard's passing. Our deepest sympathy to Merrill and the Gibson family.

A great life during one of the greatest generations! No doubt your Dad's music will play on for years to come. Eileen Taylor Northampton MA

Ann, Merrill and family - very sorry to hear of Prof. Gibson's passing. As my professor and advisor at University of Maine, he was incredible and taught much more than that found in the textbooks. He was a person to look up to. I was so pleased to connect with him a couple of years ago and visit with he and Merrill in Surry and then have him stop by my house in Orrington to visit (and see my tractor). Few inspire people the way he did. May God bless your family

My condolences to Betsy and the rest of the Gibson family. He was a great man and will be well remembered.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Gibson family during this time of loss. I hold my memories of the Summer of 72 near and dear to heart as I shared my time in Surry with Susie, Gibby and Pat!! May the memories you have help in your healing. Love to all!! Chrissy May Charette

Ann and family so sorry to hear of the pasting of your Dad.Prays and thoughts are with you all.
