Not sure what to say?

I am so very sorry to read about the passing of Rick. It was very many years ago that I met him in Minneapolis when we both attended the U of M. I have such fond memories of the fun and good times we had while we dated. Who was this crazy kid who came to Minnesota to go to school? He became a darn good midwesterner, for sure! My best to his family, I am very sorry for your loss. Sincerely. Kathy Alich Mickelson

My deepest condolences to the family of Richard Hammond. So sorry Stacy, Gail, Jeffrey. I remember your dad was such a loving husband and father to you all. He was so much fun and I remember Mel and I had a lot of good times together. He always made me laugh and I always envied Gail as I knew how much he loved her, he was always making notes on napkins to mark ideas or dreams that they were going to do together. What a loveing couple and loveing parents. He will be remembered. Nancy...

I can remember Richard and his dad Sam drinking coffee and laughing in our kitchen when they ran Arlington and my dad helped them. My father and mother will miss him one could make my parents LAUGH more than Richard. Our love to you Gail and family. Thank you for enriching my parents lives as well.

Gail, I'm so sorry to read of your loss. I'm also sorry that we've lost touch over the years due to circumstances beyond our control. May our gracious Lord bless you with peace and comfort during this difficult time. Janet Sincebaugh

I will miss Rick's sense of humor and warm friendship. Being in a room with him was being in a room full of laughter. I am thankful for knowing Rick and will always be inspired by his generosity. My love and prayers are with you all during this sad time.
