my sister and i loved spending time with jake. her kids became good friends with his. every time i would see him...whether it had been 2 days or 2 months since the time before, he always had a big hug and a "how ya doin' honey?" i will miss his genuine warmth and that killer smile. he was an excellent host and an even better guest! he always brought the party with him! we love you grant and griffin. marsha and melisa waterhouse

My thoughts and prayers go out to Rick's family and my cousins Griffin + Grant. Remember the good times.

I always remember Rick and his cars growing up in Westbrook. Then he got his Harley and was so proud of it, I usually ran into him at Highland Variety gasing it up! He always had a smile on his face and truly enjoyed life and he outdoors. He always talked about his boys. My husband today even met Rick when Rick was starting out in carpentry and he did a couple of roof jobs for them. This is such a tragic and sad time for his family. Rick was just a wonderful person. My God's path help...

This is a tragic story - and my families prayers and support are with the chilren at this time. I believe that my children are classmates of the boys in Windham. My kids were talking about this the other day with their dad and I. They didn't know what to do to help their friends. I told them to support them, encourage them through this, and most importantly be there for them over the coming school year. From our family to yours..please know that we are praying for all of you.
