Not sure what to say?

Still miss that wonderful man. Many times memories of him have crept into my mind and my heart. Dick was so kind and generous with his time to my son Greg and I when we needed it most which was often. He never hesitated to try and fill in a father image for Greg. I am so blessed to have had the Jarvi family in my life all these many years. My dear dear friend Jeanne - love you always. Peace to you and your family and I know Dick is rejoicing with loved ones in heaven - until we meet...

We know you are a million miles away in heaven. But,yet your spirit is with us always. Your body may have died but, yet your soul was set free of pain and worries... so many memories make us think of you, we will keep them in our hearts forever...We know you're in heaven with Ma,Pa,Jeff and your sister Alma. We feel good inside knowing you're not alone. You're going to be deeply missed. I love you uncle Dick.

Dick was a wonderful old friend- he will never be forgotten. I send my love to all of his family.

Jeanne and family,
I met Dick at the Catonsville Y where I work. His face would just light up when talking about his family. He was a kind, and thoughtful man that just knew how blessed he was to have all of you in his life. He will be missed dearly. God bless all of you through this very difficult time.

was a very kind man

To the wonderful family of a wonderful man. We wanted to tell you that we are so sorry for your loss. Richard was a great guy and will be missed by many. We were sad when they moved away and were no longer our neighbors. Every time I would run into him he would tell about all the things his children and grandchildren were doing and was so proud of all of them. We will miss his smiles and all of the news about his family. Our prayers are with you.

So sorry for your loss. Dick was a kind and caring person. He was always happy and smiling every time was we saw him. He will truly be missed.

We are so sorry for you loss. Dick was a kind and caring person. He was always happy and smiling when we saw him. He will truly be missed. Love, Coko and Al Sickmon

Loved spending time with Dick when they were in Maryland. We had lots of good talks over the fence or in Jeff and Julie's kitchen. I'll miss him and will pick a Toby Keith song to play in his honor. Thinking of you all in this difficult time.
