Richard Langenfeld died February 22, 2015. Dick was born in Green Bay, WI to Francis (O'Tooley) and Eugene Langenfeld on January 24, 1943. He is survived by his wife Marilyn; sons Richard and Robert (wife Krissy) and 3 grandchildren Madison, Robert Jr. and Samantha; a sister Glory Arner and husband Wayne and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister Barbra, his mother and father. He grew up in Elmhurst and Oak Park, IL. He attended WIU and joined Theta Xi Fraternity. He met Marilyn there and they married on April Fools Day in 1967. They lived in Lombard, IL and Naperville for 38 years. Dick worked with his father as a manufacturer representative in hardware before he started his own business in 1978. This became a family business with boys joining the organization. Dick was a very well respected business man and will be greatly missed. Dick was an avid sports fan and played all sports until he had too many health issues. Everything from hockey, baseball, football, skiing, tennis, and even golf. He loved his boating "Don't worry be happy I, II, III. He was an avid sports fan of the Bears, Bulls, Cubs, and the Black Hawks. His biggest love were his two boys. He was a hands on Dad their whole lives. Dick was truly a great person with a fabulous sense of humor. He will be missed by all. We love you Dick! His memorial will be March 21, 2016 at 1L30 at 4230 SE 20th Place, Cape Coral.
