Not sure what to say?

It was a great pleasure to know Richard for over 40 years, as a friend and companion/husband to my dear friend Noreen. He was a devoted husband, father, and teacher and enjoyed life to the max. making the most of his last few years by accomplishing many fetes on his bucket list. Although somewhat reserved, Richard was always fun to converse with and share a beer over the years. He will always be remembered fondly as a wonderful man who will be greatly missed by friends and family.

Only knew Richard briefly but loved every brief minute where we interacted on that trip down the canyon. His energy was so focused yet soft. Rest dear Richard rest.....

I had the great pleasure of working with Richard for a few years at San Joaquin Alternative School. Always loved his unique sense of humor and approach to life. He was a remarkable person, and he made a difference in the lives of many.
