Not sure what to say?

He was a great, great person, Always warm and inviting. I always felt I could be myself around him. I, for one, always remember his stories about getting up early to go workout. And of course his famous line when it was almost time to leave "home stretch?" He was a good person - his presence will be severely missed.

Richard has been my pharmacist for many years, and I already miss him terribly. I can ditto all that has been writtten in the guest book so far. My thoughts and prayers are with you as they have been since his surgery.

I have never known a pharmacist to speak to his customers individually (calling their names) and taking time to converse with them. The Feltons will miss Richard (more than words can say).

WINN DIXIE WILL BE A SAD PLACE FOR AWHILE HIS FAMILY WILL MISS HIM SO MUCH BUT WELOST OUR DASHUND AND THEY ALSO WILL GRIEVE BUT TO ALL OF YOU IT IS A TRAGIC LOSS MAY GOD COMFORT YOU IN THE DAYS AHEAD

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all and your family.

Richard always called us by name when we came into Winn Dixie. He will truly be missed.

God Bless you all in this time of loss.

The Pattillo Family.

The McVey Family,

We are truly saddened to hear of Richard's passing. Words cannot express the sorrow we feel. A "bright light" in the Auburn community has been blown out. He was a tremendous person and compassionate for others in need. He will be greatly missed!!!

Becca, Natalie and Meridith, it has been 9 years since we left Auburn but getting to know you and work for Richard was a very special time in my life. I know your faith and trust in God will sustain you through this difficult time.
