RICHARD SHARKANSKY Obituary

SHARKANSKY, Richard Richard "Dick" Sharkansky, 86, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, formerly of Mashpee and Needham, MA, passed away on September 13, 2025. Born in Fall River, MA, he was the son of Abraham and Ethel Sharkansky and was predeceased by his brother Robert. Dick earned degrees from Durfee High School, Durfee Tech, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and later received his JD from Suffolk University. He worked at Raytheon for over 35 years, where he became Patent Counsel and mentored many colleagues. He cherished time with family-survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Michael (Jennifer Borak); daughter, Lori Lustig (Matthew); grandchildren Jake, Hannah Lustig, and Spencer Sharkansky; sister, Carol Weinberg; sister-in-law, Linda; and loving nieces and nephews. Graveside Service on Sunday, September 21, 11:45am at Lindwood Memorial Park, Randolph, MA. His legacy lives on in the family and colleagues he inspired. Bril and I want to send our deepest sympathy on the passing of Dick Sharkansky. I am so sorry, not only because he was the only one who ever watched my Sunday morning TV show,but because he was always fun to talk to. Bril and I send our deepest sympathy to Barbara and the family.
