Not sure what to say?

Remembering Dr Seiber with gratitude for introducing me to Dr Shinichi Suzuki when he was my teacher at Georgia State University. That introduction led me to a gratifying life as a Suzuki music educator.

Dick, you were my favorite next door neighbor of all times. I will never forget all the music and singing, especially when you had guests.

My sympathy to Dick's family. He was a fine man and I was happy to play several piano concerti with him over the years. His wonderful spirit will be missed!

Dick, As a member of the Choir of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in South Minneapolis starting in 1973, it was my joy to sing for you and with a number of great people on so many great Choral works. It was especially great fun with the Brubeck concerts and the Bible Folk first concerts. It was always great to see you when you came back to visit. Working on a number of Orchestra Groups as a Sound Tech with the Mpls Park Board at Lake Harriet Band Shell I met alot of people who remembered you and...

Dr. Seiber was my violin teacher and Music Ed. professor at Georgia State University in Atlanta - 1957-1961. I'm pretty sure that was his first job as a music professor. It was my good fortune as he was intuitive about my passion for teaching music to children so he told me about an amazing teacher in Japan who was teaching little chilren to play the violin - Dr. Shinichi Suzuki - that I should try to connect with him. I did almost 45 years ago and Suzuki teaching has been my life work and...

I attended the HSMP in 1969 & 70 and then the U of M. Dr. Sieber will be sadly missed.

It was my good fortune that Dick Sieber and I both arrived on the University of Minnesota campus in the fall of 1964. From our very first meeting, it was obvious that we were destined to be collaborators on many musical endeavors. Dick headed up the orchestra program and I was responsible for the choral program. Beginning in our first year, we did combined works in Northrop that involved hundreds of performers and large audiences. I vividly remember when he told me that he was in contact...

My dear Dick,

I will miss seeing your twinkling eyes and warm smile. It was my privilege to be guided by you as a musician in my youth, and my joy to introduce you to my family as an adult. Your wisdom, compassion and encouragement enriched my life, the lives of my family, and countless others.

My heart felt condolences and love to the Sieber family.

Though I have many friends, and know the parents of many of them, Dick was one of the few I ALWAYS wanted to visit with when he came to visit Jami. He had a spark....one just wanted to be around him. He will be missed indeed.
