Not sure what to say?

Dearest Doctor Wagner: you put me in braces in 1966. Thanks to your kindly, careful, God-given skills, after all these many years `little Howie Deever´ STILL doesn´t look like `goofy Bucky Beaver´. Thank you.

I was so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was my orthodontist and was such a kind person. Years later and in different cities, dentists would ask, "Who did your orthodontia? They did a great job." So thanks to your Dad and my sincere condolences.

David, sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He was a great guy. He was agood man on the Sioux City School board. Would visit often with your Mom & Dad in resturants after church Sundays when they were out and about. Take care. Coach Haafke

Dr. Wagner was my orthodontist over fifty years ago! I still remember his promise to buy me a chocolate malt if adjusting my braces caused too much pain! I never did get a malt, so it must have been doable! My sympathies to his family.

What a good friend, great neighbor and a passionate ambassador of the University of Iowa. I will miss the fun rivalry we had, from a Iowa State fan RIP neighbor .

DIck served on the School Board with me and he was one of the best. RIP

Dick was a great guy!! I had the opportunity to get to know him as we had a golf foursome that played most summer Wednesdays. Afterwards, we would go eat hot beef sandwiches at Harvey´s in Riverside. We would mostly just laugh as Dick regaled us with many fun stories....and he was indeed a great story teller! RIP my old friend! The world was made better for having had you in it! Bill Stewart
