Not sure what to say?

I'm very sorry to hear about Rick Baldwin's death, and my condolences go out to his family. The death of a family member is the hardest thing to go through--be comforted knowing that the thoughts of many people are with you as you cope with this loss.

It's hard to know what to say on such a sad occasion. My condolences go out to the Baldwin family. My memories of Rick center most on football. He had tremendous drive and energy on the field. He made the team better and we could have used a few more that had his heart. There are of course thoughts of parties and concerts; and an early memory of a hunting excursion when we found, not shot, a young owl which was injured. Rick took it home and rasied it. He was a unique individual which will be...

My heart goes out to the Baldwin family, you all have been through so much and if there is anything that I could do let me know... I know that there has been plenty of times that you have helped others out and even the whole family has been there for me... and I will always be there for you all! And even "pumpkin pie" is here for the boys!

I worked with Rick at Boeing, he was quite the character and one hell of a good ol'boy. I was just talking about him the yesterday day and someone told me they had heard he passed on. My prayers are with the family, and I very sorry for your loss. God Bless you all....

I would like to thank everyone who has signed this guest book and those of you who are still signing. The warm memories you share and the thoughtful messages you send have brought some solace to us, his family. My dad will be greatly missed for many reasons and it is comforting to know that he will be remebered by all of you. Once again, I thank you for your thoughts and prayers.

Dear Baldwin Family,
I was sadden by the recent news of Rick's death. I went to school with Rick since the first grade. He had a great since of mischief about himself that still brings a smile to my face and laughter to my thoughts. I pray that the pain of his passing will soon be replaced with the remembrance of the joys of his life.
A fellow classmate of Derby Senior Class of 1979

Dear Baldwin Family:
I am also a classmate from way back to 5th grade with Mrs. Wall, and graduate in 1979 of Derby High School. I am sorry to hear of Rick's passing- what a neat guy he was! He had the greatest head of red hair and what freckles! He always made us laugh with some crazy thing he was doing- we used to all get in trouble for laughing at him. Such happy memories!
Keep the good memories in your heart, and know that he was thought well of by many people.
You...

It's June 11th and I JUST found out about Rick's passing. I went to school with Rick from the 5th grade and on. Rick was always a friend of mine and I know he will be sorely missed. He was always the centerpiece of any class he attended and brings fond memories of my childhood. While I did not maintain contact with Rick following graduation, I am sure he touched many lives in his adult life in the same way he did in his adolescence. He always had a way of making people laugh. My thoughts and...
