Rita passed away on Friday, July 9th at her residence.

Rita was born August 25, 1940 in Tyler, TX to Helen D. Shofner and Boyd Yancy.

Rita was a devoted housewife to Wilson Krueger for 12 years. She was a faithful caring Christian. She loved spending time visiting and running around with her family and working in her yard. Everyone said Rita had a green thumb because it seemed like she could get anything to grow in her beautiful yard. Rita was also a talented artist who loved to draw and paint as can be witnessed in some of her work.  She was a very special person endeared to all her friends and family.  Even though she is now with her Savior in eternal bliss she will be forever missed by her family and friends. The world will be less without her.

Rita was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Pharaoh, step dad, Cecil Pharaoh, aunt, Coree Aarons, grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. V.L. Shofner, husband, Wilson Krueger.

Rita is survived by her sisters Phyllis Pickens, Donna Lyles, and Christene Thrasher and her brother Bobby Knight.
