Not sure what to say?

Ayear has passed us by..I say it like that because life feels surreal without you. I look up when I hear a car door close and think, "Good! Bob's home!" It's so terribly lonesome here in this big empty house. When the kids come over everything begins to feel normal again and I pretend you'll be walking in shortly, then when they leave there's just silence. I miss you so much Boo and it hurts all the time. Love forever
Sal

A year has now passed since you left us Dad...we all gathered at the barn on the 31st to be together where you loved to be. It is still so strange for you not to be there with us - you should be. You should have been there walking around in your blue cover-alls, weeding the garden and stoking a fire....I miss and love you so much Dad

Today, November 28th would have been your 64th Bob. We always sang that Beatle's song and promised we'd take care of each other "when we're 64"..."will you still need me?"...." I still need you my darling, It's been so lonesome without you by my side. Andrew told me today that he really missed his "Papa", as we all do. I love you forever
Sal

Today would have been your 64th birthday Dad - I wish you were here because I miss you so much!
All my love, Lisa xoxoxoxo

Dear Sal and babes,
We were so sorry to hear the news...it does travel fast. We are so priviledged to have had you guys in our lives...there's some history that brings a big smile and the accompanying laughter, often at Bob's expense. We'd like to join in the celebration on the 11th and will try to priorize the 'have-to's' in order to be there. Until then, I'm sending lots of hugs. Always, Diane and Ken

To all of Dr Bob's family,

I am so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He is leaving a huge whole on the island that only someone as amazing as him could have filled.

He was a wonderful man and will truly be missed by all his human and animal friends.

My heart goes out to you at this time and in the days ahead.

Dear Sallie and family, Bob was a loving and caring man who enriched our lives every time he came to our farm. Bob taught us so much about raising animals and he had many a good laugh as he saw us fumble and flounder in this new environment. We loved Bob. He was so easy to talk to and be with. He celebrated with us when our first calf was born and he shared our sorrow when Sassy, our horse, died. Bob was there for us and for the animals. Sallie, this world is a much sadder and lonelier...

Thank-you Dr. Bob for many wonderful years of service. Our family and animals will miss you for many many years to come. There is a special place in heaven for people like you Dr. Bob.

Dear Sallie and Lisa,

I am so sorry to hear the news of Bob's passing.

Lisa, you had a wonderful , loving Father. May your many beautiful memories provide you with peace and comfort during this sad and difficult time. My thoughts and love are with you, Sallie and your family.

With love,

Val
