Not sure what to say?

I am a lawyer in the City of Houston’s Legal Department and knew Robert from work. Robert was always patient, kind, funny, interesting and extremely smart. He was a pleasure to work with and know. My sincere condolences to his family. We miss him.

I am a partner at Shook Hardy where Robert was working when he passed away. I also had the privilege of interviewing him on campus. He was a solid guy and a joy to know. He will be missed.

This is Robert's little sister Alice, I want to thank you all for sharing your thoughts and memories with us it means a great deal. For myself Robert was my Big Brother that I know I bugged too much... He did teach me how to play chess which I think he let me win (maybe once). He introduced me to SNL back in the day and he would of course read and watch tv at the same time. I was so proud of him and told him so when he entered Law School. He is going to be a GREAT JUDGE. Thank you all for...

Robert was a good friend.I was shocked to read about his passing. What I remember most was how he helped lead our Middle and High School Academic Decathalon Teams to many victories.(It was called Knowledge Bowl back then.)
We also shared many adventures as Boy Scouts. My sympathy goes out to his entire family. Especially Mark and Terry who I also attend school with.

Well, they claim there aren’t any lawyers in heaven, but Robert would be the first, I’m thinking…Oh my, what to say about such an incredible person…all I know is that you would not find another person like Robert if you searched forever. We all know that he was extremely intelligent, but he also had a very rare strength of character. He was a very giving person. He told me one time, “I guarantee you that if I say I’m going to do something, that’s what I’m going to do.” And he lived by that...

This is Mark, Robert's brother... Thank you for all the kind words it really helps deal with the pain. Copy the link listed here to view a few of the pictures that I found on Robert's computer. http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/merad

Hearing of Robert's passing came as a shock to me as it did to everyone. My sincerest sympathy to his family. It has been three years since I had the pleasure of working with Robert at the City, but I remember discussing many topics with him including our cats. I remember Robert with a smile on his face, a cup of coffee in his hand and a cd case under his arm ready to tackle any and all computer problems. God speed to Robert. Heaven now has one fine computer tecky and a very nice person....

I'll miss Robert. He was always helpful when I called him with a computer problem, and I enjoyed riding in his carpool in the evenings. I loved his taste in music (the Traveling Wilburys, Mannheim Steamroller, Little River Band) and enjoyed hearing him sing along when I wasn't.

i am theresa,Roberts younger sister and i want to thank all those who have taken time to share their thoughts and memories of him with others.we will all miss him terribly
