Not sure what to say?

Dear Mary Ellen & Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your husband Bob & the girl's Dad. I know how close you all are as a family, like Lesia wrote we all at SBC/CMR felt like we knew him as well as we knew each of you. I know you will find comfort in each other and your many wonderful memories of him. God Bless You All. You are rememebered in my prayers.

Your old friend
Joanne Henderson ( Palluck)

Dear Mary Ellen, Susan, Mary Frances, Cathy, Jackie and Patty-
I just heard through Joanne Palluck about your loss of Bob. I am so sorry to hear this and that he had lung cancer. I too know of the suffering he went through with this because I lost my Mother, Donna, May 26 of this year to the same illness. I know the heartbreak you feel as I have been there, I am still there. I knew your family through the ties at Southwestern Bell. Susan and I started there within days of eachother....

One of the greatest gifts Bob brought to this world was knowing how to get a smile out of whoever was around him. His gift will continue in my memories. He was one of those who made the workplace fun.

Thank you for all of your wonderful comments about my father. He was such a generous man, especially with his family. He never talked about the kind deeds he did for people. I am truly amazed that he helped so many people. We all know that he is in Heaven, but we still miss him so much. He was always there for us. Thank you for your prayers and concern.

Cathy (Bandy) Saunders

I offer my deepest sympathies in your loss. I worked with Bob at BCBSKC and he was truly a mentor that I think of often and have learned many lessons from. He was a gentle-man and will be missed by those his life touched.

To Bob's family:
I was saddened to hear of your loss. Please accept my sympathy.
I met Bob in 1971 when we were both employed by BCBSKC. Over the years I knew Bob as a good friend. Many times after Bob retired, he would come back to BCBSKC and have lunch with some of us in the cafeteria. He was a great guy and a man to truly call your good friend. God has called him and he answered.

MY SINCERE SYMPATHY TO THE FAMILY OF BOB. I WORKED MANY YEARS WITH HIM AT BCBS.AT THE LAST RETIRMENT DINNER IT WAS RAINING AND BOB OFFERED HIS UMBRELLA HELPED ME INSIDE AND SHOWED ME WHERE TO GO.JUST AN EXAMPLE OF THE GENTLE MAN HE WAS.WE WILL MISS HIM.
SINCERELY,
SHIRLEY BRITT

I was blessed knowing Bob during the years that I worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Please know my sorrow for your loss and that you are in my prayers. (Life is a flame that is always burning itself out. But it catches fire again every time a child is born.) Remembering you and your family in prayer.

I am sad to hear of Bob's battle with cancer and know the pain the family must be going through. I last saw Bob and Mary Ellen at the Lepeep resturant in Overland Park. He gave me a big hug and called my by my nickname "Dibble". He always called me that when I was their neighbor on Newton Drive. A smile comes to my face when I remember all the great times Cathy, Patty, Mary. Susie ,Jackie and my little brother Greg shared as we grew up. Bob was always teasing me in his fun loving way.
