Dear Pat and family,
I received the sad news via a phone call from my brother Leon. I am so sorry for your loss and for all who knew Bob. We have been friends ever since we were kids - a lifetime! I don't think there was ever a time when we saw each other or had contact in some way that he did not talk about the fun times we had while growing up and his remembrances of my parents home. It was because of Bob and Doris that I became a student at Mt. Penn HS. What a relief to have a...

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

To the Beane Family: My family and I are so grateful to your family for having one of the best neighborhood grocery stores around. Back in the day, we went every week to Beanie's to shop for our groceries. Your family is one of the kindest and most thoughtful that I remember in our neighborhood. I have fond memories of Bob working the meat counter. May the Lord bless his soul. And may He keep you in comfort and peace.

Pat, Dawn & David..so sorry for the loss of your father. He was a special man & a gentle soul. May God bless his soul & give comfort to all of you.
Joan Antush.

Sorry to hear about this. Bob was my first employer when I worked part time after school and weekends at Beane's grocery store 40 some years ago. What a great guy. I worked there several years and when I told him I had an opportunity for full time employment with another employer he pulled me aside and began giving me advise on what to wear for the interview, what to say, and to use him as a reference. I never forgot when he told me "you have to toot your own horn." I got the job...

Pat it is with a very heavy heart that I learned of Bobs passing. My deepest sympathy to you and the entire Beane family. He will remain in my heart and memories forever. Heaven has gained a true angel and will be missed. His compassion will be something I always remember.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
Stacey (Keller) Hamilton
