Robert Frank Atcheson BEATTIE

I was saddened to read of Bob’s passing, especially since he was the last remaining member of the Macklin Beattie family. I remember him being in my Mum’s stories about life on the farm along with her other cousins; his wooden toys always fascinated me and it was obvious that they were well made. No doubt you will always have many wonderful memories to help you through this difficult time and beyond.

Sympathies to all...I remember Bob as young boy living on Oscar Sreet when coming with my parents for visit and dinner...My dad and his father were cousins, as Bob and I. I also remember how friendly Bob when visiting, taking the time to spend with his considerably younger cousin, playing catch, walking around the neighbourhood, going to a show or letting me play with his toys... Families drifted apart but pleasant memoires stay of my family visits.....Warmest Regards,.,.
