Bob was one of that sadly vanishing breed of attorneys who was always a gentleman, always prepared when he came to court (very notable back in the days when things were not nearly so streamlined as they are now!), and always had time for a kind word. He was thorough, and made sure nothing ever was rushed through. May his legacy live on through the good folks at his firm.

Bob was a true hero to the Columbia River Girl Scouts acting as their attorney for many years. His wisdom, patience, and commitment were graciously given with gentle words and kindness, and profound intelligence. I am so grateful to have known him and extend sympathies to his family.

I was saddened to learn about Robert. The loss of a loved one can be one of the most difficult things we can face in life. Our loving God says he will never leave us or abandon us, Hebrews 13:5. He also promises that our loved ones will be redeemed from the grave, to live again. Hosea 13:14. Please be comforted by this and your fond memories of Robert.

I got to know Mr. Bennett years ago as a young lawyer. Even though we were on opposite sides, he could not have been more polite or professional. That was rare in those days, and even rarer now.

He had so much class, and treated everyone professionally, fairly and honestly. He had a big impact on many lawyers.
