Not sure what to say?

Growing up as close friends with Tom and Mike I always knew him as big Bob. Whenever I was at the house he made me feel like family and would include me in the brief but pointed chats meant to keep us out of mischief. My prayers and memories go out you and your families.

We compare Bob somewhat like Father Abraham and the great family he is responsible for. We are grateful for joining your family with the community up north. What an asset you all have been to Gods work among us. We really look forward to our next get-together forever.

While working with Bob @ First Western I developed a great friendship. Bob always looked at life with a positive attitude. His love for Anne & his family was always visible. The world had lost a great man.

As a young girl, I spent time at the Miller home in Cedar Rapids. I recall seeing Bob sitting on a chair in their beautiful sun porch reading and then looking up at me with a big smile and jokingly asking me, “Hey, what are you doing here?” Bob’s personality was bigger than life and I always felt welcomed.
Now, God is welcoming him home.

Reaching out to the "Miller kids" especially Debbie, Mike and Annie, on the passing of your father. Thinking about what a wonderful family that he and your mother created. I can't drive by the old house on Memorial Drive without thinking of all of you. What memories you have to cherish. Sending love and prayers -- Monica (Wolf) Vernon

Bob and Anne were two of the most sincere people that I have ever met. They greatly inspired many to be better Christians. Bob, your reward is in heaven, where Anne has been patiently waiting.
