Not sure what to say?

Donna, Connie and family,

It was sad hear of the passing of your husband and father. I happened to connect recently with Connie via email, over 20 years from when I knew your family and I remember Bob to be a committed and caring father and husband. His children certainly were a reflection of what a quality person that he was. He always was positive and supportive and very proud of them. I appreciate the relationship that I had with your family and want you to know that you all...

I was fortunate enough to have worked for Bob from 81 to 84. The employment he and Donna gave me enabled me to finish school and start my life. I got a chance to say this to Bob back in May. It was something I had wanted to do for years.

It matters not the value of our purse when we die, but what it has held and how people remember its contents.

Gods speed Bob Cavin, you will be missed by many......

Donna & family, we are so sorry to read about Bob's passing. I'm so glad at least to have seen him and you at the Fife gathering in Sun City West. We are currently vacationing in Norway and I was scanning the internet when I learned about Bob. If there is anything I can do please don't hesitate to ask. We'll be home the 6th of September.

In sympathy,

Joel & Gerd

Although I had only a few short years to get to know Bob, I will deeply miss him and am proud and privileged to have had such a wonderful brother. My prayers and thoughts are with you Donna.

I heard about Bob's illness at the reunion. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your and your family's loss. I will always remember him from years ago as a decent, warm, very neat guy.

My best to you, Donna... peace to all your family... Connie Askew Smith

Donna: Love and sympathy to you and the family. I will never forget your kindness to our family over the years especially for Janel/Kevin;'s wedding. Although we did not know Bob that well we can share your grief at losing your partner of 47 years. Carolyn and Robert (Anderson) Stewart, San Antonio TX

Bob will forever be in our thoughts and memories. He was a good friend who brought out the best in people. With his famous "What's the deal", people would immediately warm up and feel right at home. He will be missed.

Connie's colleagues and friends from Cedarbrook are keeping you all in thought and prayers. We were so lucky to have met such warm and kind father, husband, and grandfather.
