Not sure what to say?

Our hearts continued to be warmed by memories of Bob's
rapier wit, infectious smile and love of family. He will always be unforgettable, his life was well lived, knowing and loving Bob enriched our lives. He will live on in our hearts forever. Barb and Bill Howell

Our deepest condolences for the loss of a great man. Always smiling and so friendly. Klaus will miss him very much. Tina, our thoughts and prayers and with you and your family

Bob became a friend over twenty years ago when both of us trained at the same time to become North Carolina Volunteer Train Hosts. He enjoyed meeting and greeting people, so he was perfect in his new position in retirement.Through the years we shared meals in Charlotte and in Gaston County and would catch up on the telephone when he told about the golf scores of Tina and him. His life was full of vigor with activities that he enJOYed. His was a life well-lived, one that we would do well to...

So very sorry for your loss. There is a portion of a poem that helped me with the loss of my mother - "why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am waiting for you for an interval somewhere very near just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before. How we shall laught at the trouble of parting when we meet again"

Bill and I will always remember Bob with love and affection. We enjoyed playing golf with him when we could and spending time together at family gatherings or just meeting for breakfast. He was a kind and wonderful man and a treasured friend. We will miss him.Our sincere condolences to his wife Tina and all of their families.
