Not sure what to say?

So sorry about"Skip".He was a good man and he will be missed by all that knew him and
loved him. Praying for healing for the family.

Becky, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Much love, Kim Rogers, Food Lion

Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May the comfort of God help you during this difficult time.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Skip Engblom. I share the same name of Robert Engblom as did my father and does my son. It was through sheer happenstance that my son came across this obituary today and forwarded it to me. Upon opening the link I was amazed to see a photo that was a perfect blend of my Uncle Eric and my own father. Skip was perhaps 19 or 20 the last time I saw him during a visit back to Long Island from our new home in St. Louis. I'm saddened that I...

I did not know Skip very long but the short time I did know him I realized what a remarkable man he was. I enjoyed listening to him tell me about living on the St. Johns River. Becky, I'm so sorry. Please let me know if there's anything I can do.

Heaven just gained a remarkable Man.. one that was very special to me. Skip was a dear friend that I shared good times & bad times with during our time together at Food Lion & after. He always managed to make me laugh & smile when things were crazy. Thank you Becky for allowing me to spend a few hours with him before he left us. That meant the world to me. I bet Skip is out there on a fishing boat with David & Randy waiting to catch the big one! Much <3 to you & the family Becky. I <3...

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family - he will be missed. KIM SIDES - FOOD LION

I HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF WORKING WITH SKIP DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ELLOREE, SC DISTRIBUTION CENTER IN 1983. WE'VE JUST LOST ANOTHER ONE OF "THE PIONEERS,"---------THE PEOPLE WHO BUILT FOODLION DURING WHAT I CALL "THE GO-GO YEARS." EVERYONE WORKED HARD, PLAYED HARD, KNEW HOW TO LAUGH, AND GOT GREAT RESULTS. THE VOID, CREATED BY LOSING PEOPLE LIKE HIM THROUGHOUT THE BUSINESS SECTOR, I TRULY DOUBT WILL EVER BE FILLED.
