Not sure what to say?

We were so sorry to learn about your dad's passing. He was always so personable. We knew he was involved in lots of endeavors, but had no idea it was so many things. He truly made our community a better place. Losing parents is one of the toughest things that we have to go through in this life. You will remain in our thoughts and prayers during this time.

To the family I am so sorry for the loss of this great man. My prayers are for all of you and I know he will forever live in your heart

It seems that Mr. Freeman was always in my life. Robert Jr. and I have been friends since birth and shared a lot together along the way, even when life kept us in different parts of the world. Mr. Freeman always had a great smile and was interested in what I'd been up to.

I was lucky enough to have spent a couple of hours with him two weeks ago and he was lively , witty and full of enthusiasm during our visit. I will always have that image of him and the recollection of how...

Susan and Family- You know how much both your Mother and Father meant to me- so sad to lose them here on earth, but I am just imagining how much they are brightening up Heaven now that they are back together! Much love and sweet thoughts to all of the Freeman family!

As a senior at Ferguson High School, I was privileged to get a part time job at the CPA firm of Coopers and Lybrand in downtown Newport News. I was hired there full time upon graduation. I have so many wonderful memories working under Mr. Freeman's leadership. He made the firm a great place to work and, of course the Christmas parties at the country club were always something to look forward to. My sincere condolences to all the family during this difficult time. May the Lord provide you...

It was a distinct pleasure and priviledge to have known Bob Freeman. He truly excelled at everything in which he was involved.

He was an exceptional businessman, CPA and community leader, and he was instrumental in growing Virginia Health Services, Inc. into the vibrant corporation that it is today. He will be missed.

Bob or Mr Freeman for most of my life was so kind and involved with us children riding ponies all over Riverside. He always had a smile and kind word to offer. As an adult moving back to Newport News he always stopped to acknowledge me and shake a hand even though most of the time I would see him dressed dapper in full suit as usual and me in barn clothes at lunch at Vicki,s families restaurant. A true gentleman. I am at Duke hospital for surgery and won't be able to attend his...

I was an employee of Daniels, Turnbull & Freeman for many years in the DATA PROCESSING DEPARTMENT. Mr. Freeman was a wonderful man . . . admired by all of the employees that I knew.
Many Blessings to all of his loved ones.
