Col Garner was a great mentor and friend. Fresh from the Gulf War to NAVAIR, he took me under his wing as the CO of PMA-275 and taught me what program management was all about. A Great American and a loss to this Nation. He will be missed.

Bob was stalwart and true of character. He didn't waver from the correct path, and he was an excellent judge of fine wine and beer

My deepest condolences to the Garner Family. It was a pleasure to work with Col. Garner at FLIR Systems. He was the epitome of an officer and a gentlemen, a leader with the highest integrity and damned good at everything he did. Our loss is Heavens gain. Rest In Peace.

Sincerest condolences to the Garner family. I have many good memories of Bob Garner. He had a contagious zest for life and definitely strived to bring out the best in folks.
RIP Sir and Semper Fidelis!

God speed HIPPO, condolences to your family. I know they will miss your smile and unwavering sense of humor. Was a pleasure serving with you on several USMC assignments. Will always remember your infectious spirit, RIP shipmate.

So very sorry for you loss of Hippo. Another fine Marine sent to guard the gates. If there is anything we can do to be of help, please let me know.
