Not sure what to say?

Mr. Glimore hired me as a young reporter at The Alvin Sun in the early 90s. He was quick to take me under his wing and helped me learn about all facets of the newspaper business - and more especially - the role it plays in a community. He was a great boss - firm but very fair. He had witty sense of humor that would leave a person in stitches. He was a great mentor who helped guide me toward a successful career. I'll never forget him. Prayers to the family during this time. God Bless!

I will miss my friend at the Capital. He was a very special person and I looked forward to our visits and his hugs. We had a lot of fun visiting with each other. I always went looking for him right after I would get to the Capital. He will be greatly missed. I am so sorry for your loss.
We usually took time to visit when Session was out and stay in touch.
I am thankful for the years we had as friends. I will always feel like something is missing when I am at the Capital.

Bob was a true gentleman and a gently soul. I was so fortunate to have him in my life through his daughter Jan. He will be missed by so many people that he has touched in his life.

So sorry for your lost. I am think for your father, grandfather for serving our country.

To Bob's Family - From his neighbors at St. Andrews Court, we are so very sorry and saddened to hear of Bob's passing into a much better place. He was a joy to be around and always participated in our activities. His sense of humor was great and we often talked about BAMA! We will surely miss him and pray for the family's comfort and peace that he led a full and rich life and that he loved and was so very proud of his family.

Jan, so sorry for your loss. I always liked seeing your dad at the Capitol and he always seemed to enjoy his duties so much. I'm thinking about you and your family.

Jan, I am so very sorry for you and your family's loss. You were so blessed to have such a close relationship with your Dad. I know how much he must have enjoyed your lunches, dinners, and watching ball games together. He was always such a ray of sunshine when I would see him! He will be sorely missed. I am so happy he is with your Mom now and all his loved ones. I will be rooting for Alabama (except when they play OU) in his honor. Roll Tide Mr. Gilmore!
