I knew "Bobby" from Taney Ave. He was this guy that let a kid (and a girl) 4 years his junior tag along...our playground for years was the sandlot, blackberry patch and the tops of trees. In the summer it became "9th-11th" streets, "Georges Casino". the "Hanna's Beach Stand" and of course "The Alaska Stand". The "Boardwalk" and "The Beach" were our playground then and Bobby, it seemed, was always working with the family at "The Stand". As we got older he became "Robert"..... but as...
