Not sure what to say?

To the family of Bob Gordon,

When my family moved to Cary, NC, in 1971, Bob called to welcome us to town. He was a friend to my family and I will remember that with appreciaton. My thoughts and prayers are with you during these days.

I will truly miss my friend and mentor, Bob! He will always be the finest example of a southern gentleman! His wry humor and his ability to assess a situation and come to a rational solution when all around him were exasperated show the resilience and the tenor of a leader. I will miss his charm, his smile, his jokes, his toothpicks and being the only one in the world to call me reesie! Godspeed Bob! But I know you are already there spreading your sunshine! My love to you,Miss Susie,...

Sue, Laura, Lee, Paul, and family,
We just heard of Bob's passing and we wanted to let you know that you are all in our hearts, thoughts and prayers. Bob was definitely a very unique and special individual and we are very saddened to hear of his passing. May your many memories of him give you comfort in the days ahead.
All our love,
Mike and Sherry Newnam

The Winston-Salem branch of the Sizemores extends condolences to you in the loss of Bob, the cousin of my father Harry Sizemore. I did not find out about Bob's death in time to attend his memorial service.

During the 1970s, my great-aunt Merlie Sizemore Thompson came to NC yearly from her Albuquerque home to attend her high school reunion. Merlie got in the habit of staying at my parents' Winston-Salem home for these visits during the time her brother/my grandfather, Gerna...

Dear Sue, Laura, Lee and Paul,
Just learned of Bob's passing this morning. Words can't express my saddness for you all. Bob was one of the best friends I ever had. He taught me so much during the time I worked for him. What I think of first is the love he had for his family; nothing came before you all. Hope you can take comfort in that love. There was only one Bob. My love and prayers to you all.

Sue, Laura, Lee and Paul,
I only learned of Bob's passing this morning. What a wonderful friend he was to me while I worked with him. The kind of friend who would always be there if you were his friend. He taught me so much. Over the years we touched base a few times and now I wish we kept in closer touch. What I remember most is his love for Sue and his children. Nothing interferred with that. Sue and family my love and prayers are with you. There was only one Bob.

Sue, Laura, Lee and Paul,
Just found out today of my dear friend's passing. Bob was a friend for life, the kind of friend you didn't need to talk to often. You just knew he was your friend. He taught me so much when I worked for him. My first thought of Bob is the love he had for his family. Nothing was more important to him than Sue and his children. I will miss the fact I can no longer pick up the phone and touch base with him even though I didn't very often. Sue, my heartfelt sympathy...

The Association of Food and Drug Officials of the Southern States (AFDOSS) would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Sue and family. Bob was a good friend and will be missed by all. May God Bless you at this time. Mary Logan

To the Family, so sorry to hear about Bob. My husband, Ralph Jones enjoyed talking with Bob and thought so much of him. May God be with all of you.
