Russon Brothers - Farmington/Kaysville Obituary

Some people don?t believe in HEROES, but they haven?t met my Dad. Bob Hasenyager passed away at home after waging a 14-month battle with renal cell carcinoma. Bob was the son of Clarence and Lois Hasenyager. He married Marlene J Minchey on April 17, 1976 and they were sealed for time and all...

Not sure what to say?

It doesnt seem possible that 6 years have already passed since Bob passed on.

He is still mentioned, with respect and appreciation, in my group of friends and acquaintances that worked (volunteered) with and for Bob by assisting Wildlife Resources with their mission of conserving and preserving wildlife habitat and species for the present and future generations. Bob was truly dedicated to this mission, as well as to his outstanding wife, Marlene, and children. He continues to...

Marlene, We just returned from our trip to Tahiti. Jon told of the passing of Bob. we deeply regret that we weren't here to support you in your loss. I tried to get ahold of you before we left(4/7) but I couldn't find a phone number for you. We were so pleased to hear of his baptism and your Temple sealing. Those promises make it easier to bear the loss and temporary separation. We will come to visit you soon.... Dick & Ann Casper

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Im very glad I got to meet Bob, in just the brief moments with him, his warmth and love for his family and friends were known. He is a kind, loving man and he will always be in our hearts... Im so sorry for your loss kids, wish I could have been there. Marlene, prayers go out to you and your family.

My son, Elder Parker Mecham told me about Bob's baptism last year. He also wrote me last month to tell me that Bob's family had been sealed in the Temple. When I heard from my son today, he told me that Bob had passed away and how sad he was. My prayers go out to your family. I heard a quote that I think of whenever I miss my boy (he's been on his mission for 14 months now).
A missionary is someone who leaves their family for a short time so that others can be with their families for...

It was my honor to know and work with Bob, on Utah prairie dogs and more recently, on Sage Grouse. He was a great and dedicated wildlife professional. I especially recall his love for his family and wife. As Bob Benton, USFWS, and I would pile into the back of the DWR vehicle to head back to SLC from the Bryce Canyon p.dog meetings, Bob would slip behind the wheel and announce to all of us, "By 6pm I plan to be home, kissing my wife."
Later, he reveled in telling me about trying to...

Childhood friends are a unique group. You don't always keep up with each other but when you see each other again the catching up is easy. This is how it always was with Bob. And he rarely missed a reunion with his old classmates in Princeton.

We are profoundly sad for your loss and wish you every comfort possible.

More people have posted their thoughts and sympathies on Facebook PHS Class of 1970 Princeton IL. Bob will forever be one of us...a Princeton Tiger.

Hey Teach-Thinking of you and the girls today. God Bless.

To: Marlene, Kimber, Whitney, & All of the Hasenyager Family Members

Bob was truly a great man. All of us friends & associates were privileged to know & learn from him. You were fortunate to have him as your husband, father, or relative; and he was so proud of you.

I thoroughly enjoyed working, socializing, and recreating (mostly hunting & fishing, etc.) with him during the past decade plus. I also quickly bonded with him in the arenas of wildlife conservation &...

Marlene,
I have often said that I am a better person for knowing and working for Bob Hasenyager. His City Council sign read "Tall On Service" and I observed and learned from this service at many times, in many ways. I unite my thoughts and prayers with the countless others who pray for peace and comfort for your family.
