Not sure what to say?

Melissa we only met your father on one occasion, but it was very evident the 2 of you had a special bond. He gave us a wonderful daughter in law that is one of ours that we hold in our hearts. He's in heaven and now you have Audi and your Dad watching out for you.

Dear Melissa & Jim; There will be a time for grieving and that will slowly pass. But your Father will live on in your hearts and thought's of happier times. Our prayers will always be with you.

The Brophy Family

Dear Melissa and Jim, Our hearts ache for your loss. We know there are no words to offer to stop your heart from hurting but at times like this - know you are both loved by our family. We stand with you and beside you as you move through this time of mourning. We pray for you both. I read a poem in a book someone gave me. It made me think of you both.

Oh, set your sail to the heavenly gale,
And then, no matter what winds prevail,
No reef can wreck you, no calm delay;
No mist...

Melissa, our condolences on the loss of your father. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Robert Houck, He was my Father in law, he let me call him Rob, I was never corrected and it made everyone else in the family always ask "why do you call him Rob?" Because thats what he let me call him, His first "son" I always enjoyed talking with Rob, he was very witty and always had a suggestion for what to do, not meddleling, just a suggestion. He never told or scolded me in what to do, he would just give the best advice.
Rob "Bob" was very protective of his daughter, "missy"...

Thank you for your thoughts. It means a lot to us.
He was a good person and great Dad. We will all miss him.

Bob was a wonderful man. I can't believe he's gone. I haven't seen him in many years for many reasons, but I will never forget him.

Bob was a neighbor and childhood friend. This was the era of riding bikes and swimming at the water department. I will never forget when the dog bit his ear. It shocked us all and scared him for life.
After I left for the Navy I lost track of Bob until a couple of years ago when we had coffee at a restaurant in Alton. Like the other kids from the old neighborhood who have passed; he will be missed.
