I worked with him for several years in that madness that was the Norstan Engineering Department with Craig Thomson, BIll Bergin, Dave Reffert ... and Bob was the one with the level head. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Hilda, Rosine and I just attended Laura (Platt) Bartosch funeral Oct. 30....and we were just reliving old times about all of us. I just got back to NC and found this while looking for Laura's obituary. So saddened to hear about Bob. My thoughts & prayers are will all of you at this time.

To Bob's family, I was so sorry to hear of his death. I had no idea he was ill. We were just reminiscing about Bob, David and other high school friends at Laura's funeral this past Monday. I know they are both pain free and talking over old times. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss.

I don't know what to say. Words don't seem to be meaningful enough to express who and what Bob was to so many. First, he was a wonderful person. His silence and dignity spoke volumes to me and I am sure to everyone who knew him. He never complained or griped. Knowing he was in pain he carried on every day and was steadfast in his duties and being a faithful example of what God can help you to endure. I will miss Bob.
