Not sure what to say?

I walk a 10 mile loop out and back from my house in preparation for a 70 mile walk for veterans I do on Memorial Day. Every time I go out I try to honor a fallen service member on the anniversary of their passing by putting a poster on my backpack. Many passersby see my poster. On Friday I honored Matt. His name will not be forgotten, nor will his sacrifice. My prayers are with his family, friends, and brothers in arms. Be Thou At Peace. John 15:13; Isaiah 6:8. "Climb To Glory"

Hello,
We realize that we are very late to express our deepest condolences, but we wanted to let your family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to deployed troops this week and several of these will be dedicated to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and hometown of Robert Matthew "Matt" McDowell US Army Sergeant.
We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made...

Hey dad, its maddie. I found this website YEARS ago but never found it again until now. Im 16 now so its been ten years since you passed. I want to follow in your footsteps and join the military after i graduate high school ( which is less than two years from now) possibly army infantry like you but i havent decided yet.I actually go to a military school( not at the moment because Im sure you know) but I really love it. I hate that I didnt get to know you more...luckily I have only one memory...

I just found yesterday one of my Army buddies gave his life doing what he loved. His smile will be missed by all of us.
