Not sure what to say?

I don´t know if I had seen this obituary before but my condolences to you and family. My sister bought us POW/MIA bracelets and wore them all the time. I was lucky enough to see him come home and get off the plane. I still have the article he wrote in the TV Guide. I´ve looked him up over the years. I too would like to return the bracelet if you are interested. Thanks to Robert and your family for your service and support that was given. Peace.

I didn´t know this fine gentleman however I have thought of him over the years. I have a MIA/POW bracelet from the late 60´s that I have had since I was a child that has his name and rank LCDR from when he was shot down on 5/18/67. Thank you sir for your service and to your family also. I didn´t know until today that he made it home and it makes me happy to know he did. I´m sorry for your loss. I think my email address will be available through here and if it is and a family member would like...

Hi I was going through things and found my POW bracket of Roberts. I wore it all through high school and never took it off until he walked off the plane. I would love to send it to his family. Just message me and I will. Thank you and God Bless you all.

I wore a pow bracelet with his name. I sent it to him when he came home.

I met Bob through my Husband Bill Ellis when we picked up Stingers for the funeral of Jimmy Graham when his remains were released from Vietnam years after the war ended. I actually have Bob´s POW bracket that Bill wore for years until Bob was released. Remember a beautiful kind man and would just sit at reunions and listen to and see the love between the Stingers and memories they all shared. Grateful to be able to share in that memory. Thank you all for your service.

Peggy- I wish I had posted this 2 years ago - time got away from me. Nort was my best skipper of all time - twice - once in VA-83 and then again in VA-174. I loved my time in both squadrons and it was a distinct honor to serve with your husband. His unfailing willingness to share his experiences in Hanoi and constantly loaning me books to read about the POW experience meant so much. He was the consummate elegant gentleman with such a wonderfully rye sense of humor - he always made us laugh...

Bob it was such a privilege to met you through my Husband Bill "BabyBee" who was your shipmate and with you squadron the day you became a POW. You were always part of our Family and an honor to be able to see The Stingers at the reunions. Rest In Peace.
