Maxine Clough Obituary

Cryptside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Forrest Cemetery for Maxine Clough, 91, who passed away Thursday, Sept. 16, 2010. Brother Steve Parrish will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral Home and Cremation Services directing.
Ms. Clough was a lifelong resident of Gadsden and resided at the Holy Comforter for 33 years. Throughout her life she was employed by Republic Steel, Olan Mills and Riverview Regional Medical Center.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Gene Clough, Charles Clough and Don Clough; daughter, Ann Clough; parents, Eugene and Lucy Beason; brothers, Harry Beason, Guy Beason and Warren Beason; and sister, Hazel Hartley.
She is survived by her grandsons, Barry (Amy) Clough, Tim Clough, David (Kim) Clough, Greg (Lori) Clough, Todd (Jennifer) Clough and Patrick Clough; daughters-in-law, Shirley Clough and Judy Clough; many great-grandchildren; and niece, Peggy (Harold) Reese.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Manna, P.O. Box 1623, Gadsden, AL 35902.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Dr. Torregosa and the staff of Gadsden Health Care and Rehab.
